Many of these recipes call for vinegar to mix your oils with. It's is an inexpensive, safe cleaner but there are some things you shouldn’t use vinegar on. You should also never mix a castile soap like Dr Bronner’s (another common essential oil recipe ingredient) with vinegar, because it will turn the soap back into the plant oils it was made from.
